Segundo o jornal DN, apesar do grande numero de desempregados, Estocolmo ainda é a capital que melhor enfrentou a crise.
Um dos motivos do sucesso é que a maioria dos empregados em Estocolmo não trabalha no setor industrial.
Torbjörn Israelsson, do Arbetsförmedling (Agência de Emprego Estatal) disse em entrevista ao DN que quem mais sofreu com a crise foi a região sul e oeste da Suécia, onde se concentram as grande indústrias.
